Sam Kelly Williams, Jr., 79, of Iuka, MS, formerly of Stephenville, TX, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Kelly was a member of the Erath County Board for Habitat for Humanity and, when he left, the board named a house in Kelly and Janice’s honor. He enjoyed music, singing in the choir, watching the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints play football, and making puns. He loved children, and especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Iuka United Methodist Church, officiated by Dr. Don Beach and Rev. Kerry Powell. A private interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janice Sewell Williams; his sons, Jack Kelly Williams (Hank Re) of Dallas, TX and Elton Rey Williams (Wendy) of Iuka, MS; his grandchildren, Brandon Williams, Ashley Rose, Rebekah Calhoun, Kendra Williams, Hannah Williams, Amber Williams, and Ivy Williams; four great grandchildren; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Kelly and Rebekah Lewis Williams. Memorials may be made to the Erath County Habitat for Humanity, the First Methodist Church in Stephenville, TX, or the Iuka United Methodist Church in Iuka.
