Stephenville’s Dudley Barker and Joy Hawks are among the 2018 members inducted into the All Cowboys & Arena Champions Hall of Fame.
The purpose of the All Cowboys & Arena Champions Hall of Fame is recognizing top individuals in the rodeo and arena-related world and people who love the Western culture.
All Cowboy and Arena Champions Hall of Fame provides an opportunity to recognize individuals who were top hands but, for whatever reason, chose to compete only at state or regional basis.

JOY HAWKS
Professional Women’s Rodeo Association World Champion Bareback Rider, Reserve World Champion Bull Rider, Reserve All-Around World Champion. In 1997 she won the women’s bull riding at the PBR in Houston. She was the Founder of the Rhinestone Renegades, an organization dedicated to teaching and promoting women in the rough stock industry. She has been a stock contractor with Championship Bull Riding, PBR, UBBI and various other bull riding organizations.
Hawks has recently turned her attention to the Texas Bronc Riding Association where she is a driving force and mentor and coach to the resurge of women returning the rough stock side of rodeo.
While she may be in her “coaching years” Hawks has never been one to turn down a challenge and reports indicate she has been on four broncs this season — making three successful rides at the ripe old age of “46 or so”.
