Mackenzie Hailey led the TexAnns with a 22-point, 11-rebound performance to go along with six steals. Kaylee Allen also poured in 13 points while Katie Webster (9) and McKinley Bostad (7) combined for 16 more points in the starting five. Destiney Winkfield led the bench scoring with eight points.

LONE STAR CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
McKinley Bostad was named the Lone Star Conference Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week after a career week for Tarleton in a pair of crucial victories over Heartland Conference, in-region rivals last week. Bostad joins Kaylee Allen as the two TexAnns who have won the weekly honors for Tarleton this season.

INSIDE THE SERIES: CAMERON
Tarleton and Cameron began their women’s basketball history in the 1993-94 season and the Aggies hold a slim 17-16 edge in the 33 all-time games played. The TexAnns and Aggies twice met during the spring semester of Tarleton’s final NAIA season and have been NCAA rivals since. Tarleton is 8-8 all-time in Lawton. Cameron has won eight of the last 11 since 2013.

INSIDE THE SERIES: MSU TEXAS
Tarleton and MSU Texas have a rich history of women’s basketball, which dates all the way back to 1978 and covers 69 games. The Mustangs hold a 37-32 all-time edge in the series, however, Tarleton holds a 24-23 edge since the TexAnns joined the NCAA in 1994. Despite MSU Texas claiming six of nine meetings between 2013-16, Tarleton has dominated the series since 2005 as the TexAnns have been victorious in 21 of the last 28 meetings over that span.
