Clara Fay Goforth, age 82, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019, in Palo Pinto County, Texas

She was born on May 14, 1936, in Miami, Oklahoma, to John and Clessie (Clark) Kinder.  In 1951, she married Monroe Boston.  He preceded her in death.  In 1959, she married Curtis Goforth, who also preceded her in death.  Clara was devoted to her family.  She was never afraid of hard work and through the years she was an apartment manager, a restaurant owner and manager, and a real estate agent.  The job she loved most of all, however, was homemaker.  Whenever she could find some ‘spare time’ Clara loved embroidery, beading, dancing, and singing.

She is survived by her children: Debra Boston Carnahan and husband Alan, David Boston and wife Cheryl, Teresa Goforth Marett and husband Mike, Brenda Goforth Mack and husband David, and Curtis Goforth and wife Gina; step-children: Rose Ann Graves, and Danny Goforth and wife Kim; nineteen grandchildren; forty-seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Kinder Randall and husband Andy; brother, George Kinder and wife Janet; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son, Monroe Boston, Jr.; grandchild, Brooklyn Stafford; and brother, Jack Kinder.
