THE GAMES
A last-minute change in the weather forecast has changed the order of the series but will not stop Tarleton from making its return to Lone Star Conference Baseball this weekend as the Texans head south for a four-game series against Texas A&M-Kingsville, beginning Friday at 2 p.m.

SCHEDULE CHANGE
The series was originally scheduled as a 1-2-1 series for the weekend. However, rain in the forecast has prompted Kingsville to begin the series with a 2 p.m. doubleheader on Friday. Saturday will be a single game at 2 p.m. and the series will end Sunday with a 1 p.m. game. If the weather affects game play, updates will be posted as they become available on the @TarletonSports twitter account and Facebook pages.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton enjoyed a bye week last weekend. The Texans haven’t played since March 23 when they suffered a doubleheader loss to Cameron to fall to 1-3 in Lone Star Conference play.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Texas A&M-Kingsville have met on the diamond 126 times since the first meeting in 1994. The Texans and Javelinas only have an NCAA history. There were no meetings prior to Tarleton joining the NCAA in 1994. Kingsville leads the all-time series 66-60, including a 38-17 mark in Kingsville. Tarleton won the last meeting against Kingsville in a 21-20 walk-off thriller in Canyon last year in the LSC Tournament semifinals.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will remain on the road for another weekend as the Texans travel across the state in the opposite direction for a four-game series against West Texas A&M in Canyon, beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m.
