On Friday, April 12, the students at Morgan Mill ISD got to enjoy a history-teaching program presented by the Major George B. Erath Chapter 2679 and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The program took place in the gymnasium where the students were taught some interesting facts including the meaning of the flags. Afterward, the program moved outside for a demonstration of black powder rifle salutes as well as cannon salutes.
