Surepoint Emergency is offering CPR classes at all 8 of their centers as a community service, including Stephenville.

Officials said they think everyone should be certified so the organization offers it as a free service so anyone can take it and not have to worry about if they can afford it or not. The instructor is Sasha Sessums, she works for Republic EMS which is the Surepoint ambulance service. The classes are going be offered to the public one or two times a month depending on scheduling. More information on schedules will be available on the Surepoint Facebook page.

The class offered is Heartsaver by the American Heart Association. The minimum age is 8 with accompanied by an adult and adults up to 75-80 who watch their grandkids.

When asked why they offered the course, officials said, Surepoint loves the community and want to help out wherever they can.
