Students at Hook Elementary School recently participated in a fundraiser to support the local United Way to raise $1,500. If they did not meet the challenge, then the class with the highest amount would select either Daresa Rhine, Principal, Mica Rudd, Vice-Principal, or the PE teacher, Coach Kelsey to be slimed. If the students met the challenge ALL THREE would be slimed. Well, they almost doubled their goal and raised $2,930.76!!!
“We are super proud of our students for their contributions towards a great cause,” said Hook principal Daresa Rhine.
