Wilton Lee Adams Sr., 83, passed away on November 3, 2019. Wilton was born on June 3, 1936 in Port Arthur, Texas to Earl Wilton Adams and Josie Ann Overturf Adams. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Aubrey Wayne Adams, Larry Earl Adams.
Wilton is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Patricia Ann Powell Adams, of Huckabay, Texas. Son, Lee Adams, and wife Cristy, of Jasper,Texas and daughter, Alice Adams Copeland, and husband, Sam of Huckabay, Texas.
Grandchildren Nathan Copeland, and wife Krystal, Adam Copeland, Camille Copeland, Charlea Adams and Heather Cormicle; and great grandson Jashten Copeland.
He retired from Temple/Inland in 2001 after 35 years as a millwright. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. He was a deacon and song leader for many years.
He had a great love of the outdoors. Enjoyed hunting and fishing.
A memorial service will be held in Harrisburg Texas at the family farm on Saturday November 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Lunch will be served after.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
