July 5, 1953 ~ February 4, 2020 (age 66)
Janet was born July 5, 1953 in Dublin, Texas and lived and worked most of her life in Cleburne, Texas and died February 4, 2020 (age 66) after a twelve-year battle with chronic, debilitating illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie Dean and Sarah Lenora Monson of Cleburne, Texas; sister, Cynthia Lee Baasch of Cleburne, Texas; and brother Stephen Dean Monson of Stephenville, Texas. She is survived by her brother Joe Paul Monson; nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Janet Sue was many things to all who knew her. She was very intelligent, a PhD, educator and poet, funny and with dry, quick wit to name a few. When she met you, inquisitive, wanting to find out all about you and did not forget details. As quirky as she was, she was loved by her family and friends. Her voice, smile, and laugh will be greatly missed.
