FUNERAL SERVICE:  2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL:  Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County.

VISITATION:  Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

LUNCH:  Lunch for the family will be at 11:30 A.M. on  Thursday, February 13, 2020, at East Side Baptist Church.

MEMORIALS:  If desired, memorials may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, ATTN: Development Dept., 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas 75219; or a charity of your choice.

Eldon Warren, age 79, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020, in Comanche, Texas.

He was born on April 8, 1940, in Gorman, Texas, to Niven Lee and Louise (Eoff) Warren.  Eldon was a United States Air Force Veteran, Fairfield, California.  On August 15, 1959, he was united in marriage to Brenda Williams in De Leon, Texas.  He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, loved spending time with his grandchildren, and worshipped his great-grandchildren.  He was very involved with his grandchildren and attended all their sports activities, horse shows, cheer leading, and anything else in which they participated.

In his early years he was employed by Arthur Chevrolet in Comanche.  He moved from Comanche to Irving, where he worked for Bell Helicopter for several years.   He left Bell Helicopter and joined the staff of A & F Auto, which he eventually purchased, along with its co-owner, Cecil Patrick.   Eldon was a life-long member of the National Rifle Association and loved deer hunting.  He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his wife Brenda Warren of Comanche; daughter, Kim Aldridge and husband Kenneth of Comanche; son, Tony Warren and wife Heidi of Sidney; grandchildren: Brittany and Josh Keeter, Tiffany Aldridge, Seth Warren, Quaid and Katie Warren, and Brenna and Eric Griffith; great-grandchildren:  Ashlyn, Makenzie, Maklyn, Parker, Ethan, Luke, and Wayne; sister, Joyce Cooke and husband Frank of Irving; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Niven and Louise Warren and sisters, Maurine Pack and Nancy Barefoot.
