On Saturday, area country music fans were able to come to the Paradigm Building (part of the First Baptist Church of Stephenville) to enjoy a delicious steak and potato dinner as well as a delightful country music performance.  The event was the Branson on the Bosque, Vol. 3 and it was a fundraiser for various missions work at the First Baptist Church of Stephenville.  The event was a huge success and over $3,000 was raised.  The steak “bites” dinner was prepared by Greg Hamilton of Hambone’s and the music was provided by several professional musicians from the area as well as some musicians/vocalists from the First Baptist Church.  The band performed a large variety of country tunes that were made famous by the likes of Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson, Etta James, and George Strait.  Rudy Tarpley, once again, did an excellent job of emceeing the evening’s event.  No date has been set but there are discussions of a possible Volume 4!  The First Baptist Church and the Branson on the Bosque group would like to thank everyone that came out to support FBC mission work and the band.
