ERATH COUNTY (March 27, 2020) –– First responders were dispatched to a single vehicle accident on FM 219 just before 10 a.m. this morning. Upon arrival they discovered the crash had claimed the life of 57-year-old Victor Ramos of Stephenville.
According to a report from DPS Sgt. Rick Hunter, “At 9:46 a.m. officers were dispatched to a crash on FM 219, one mile north of Dublin. A 2006 Chevrolet pickup was traveling south on FM 219 when for an undetermined reason, the vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert and went airborne. The vehicle then struck a fence. Ramos was pronounced dead on the scene.
