Mary Ellen Thompson 71 a resident of The Village at Heritage Oaks in Corsicana, formerly of Rosenberg and Wharton Texas passed away peacefully on April 25, 2020.
Mary Ellen is survived by her children, Daughter Wendy Joannou of Barry, Tx and Son Phillip Ditto and Wife Angela Ditto of Dumas, Tx, Sister Suzi Spearman of Raeford N.C.
Grandchildren James Prowell and Fiance Amanda Zuniga of Big Lake, Tx. Ashley Prowell of Barry, Tx, Cody Ditto of Lubbock, Tx, Derek Ditto of Dumas, Tx. And Adopted Grandson Jordy Boettcher of Rosenberg, Tx. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary Ellen is proceeded in death by her parents Joe Carroll Thompson and Emma Roberta Denson, Brother Joe Neal Thompson, and Brother Sherman Dale Thompson.
Mary Ellen was born in Coleman Texas on February 14, 1949. She graduated from N.M.S.U. In 1988 and worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a certified Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor.
Mary Ellen was a Beloved “NeeNee” and will be deeply missed.
Due to Covid 19 a Memorial Service for Mary Ellen will be held in Coleman, Texas at a later date.
