VISITATION: No scheduled visitation has be set but friends may come by Comanche Funeral Home to pay their respects from 10:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Friday, July 17, 2020.

Billie Jean Couch, age 90, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020, in Weatherford, Texas.

She was born on June 12, 1930, in Hamlton, Texas, to Charles and Bessie (Harrington) Barnes. On December 2, 1950, she was united in marriage to Bobby W. Couch in Seguin, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1997. Billie Jean was devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren to a fault. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook. She was kind, generous, always willing to lend a helping hand, never met a stranger, and was beloved by everyone with whom she came in contact. A devout Christian, Billie Jean was a member of First Methodist Church of Gustine.

She is survived by her children: Quatia Wright and husband Stacy of Palo Pinto, Curtis Couch and wife Susan of Odessa, and Debbie Rinehart and husband Kenneth of Fort Worth; grandchildren: Teri Breedlove, Rory Couch, and Jerod Couch; great-Grandchildren: Devin, Gunner, Averi, Hadley, Owen, Landry, Aiden, and Kaysen; brother, Tally “Buddy” Barnes and wife Carrie Lou of Crawford; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by grandson, James “Bubba” Luker, Jr.; four brothers; and six sisters.
