Graveside Services for Noel Dean Scott, Sr., 83, retired Pipeline Safety Officer with the Railroad Commission, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 24, 2020, at Bronte Cemetery, Bronte, Texas, with Dr. Ken May officiating.
Dean was born in Bronte, Texas, on August 4, 1937, to Jesse and Ara Anna (Rogers) Scott. He married Sharon Hixon on December 11, 1976, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Scott of Stephenville, Texas; sons, Noel Dean Scott, Jr., of Stephenville, Texas, Stephen Daughty Scott of Stephenville, Texas, and Gary Joe Scott of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, January Bauman and husband, Cody, of Comanche, Texas, Kristy Scott of Austin, Texas, Emily Scott of Dallas, Texas, and Savannah Scott of Crowley, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Cade Bauman and Trey Bauman.
I will miss seeing Dean Scott Sr and Dean Scott Jr enjoying breakfast and conversation at Jake and Dorothy’s. It always made me happy to see them.
