Stephenville resident and World War II veteran Douglas Mayo, turned 100 on Saturday, August 22. And while his family had planned a big party for him, with COVID, they had to cancel it. His daughter, Rita Cook, wrote a Facebook post telling folks the family would be celebrating and Mr. Mayo would be sitting in the front yard. Dozens of folks lined up to parade by the house in order to show Mr. Mayo some birthday love!
