FAITH (1-1) set the tone early with a dominating defense, but the Knights offense was pretty salty too as it put up a 58-6 score against Community Christian School in Mineral Wells.

“No matter the level, defense wins championships,” Coach Chance Yankie said. “That what we are trying to accomplish this year!”
Spread-rushers senior captain Tristan Saxon and junior Dalton Hamby helped limit CCS’s rushing attack to minus 44 yards. Dylan Aardal had a pick-score, and Kyle Corb also added another interception for the Knights.
Corb and Travis Roberson had several big offensive plays for FAITH that put up all their points in the first half.
