Cross Timbers Republican Women’s Club was honored to have Lt. Col. (Ret.) West come and speak at our special event. As stated on the back of the cover of his book Hold Texas Hold the Nation: Victory or Death, Texas is a sustaining force for America. The audience at the event listened to Lt. Col. (Ret.) Allen West’s fascinating and inspiring words regarding the upcoming election noting the election is more about our children and grandchildren than ourselves and our time. Those fortunate enough to attend were given words of encouragement and hope as Colonel West assured us that we are still a nation under God’s care and he challenged us to begin each day by asking ourselves what can we do today for God, country, and Texas and concluding each day asking ourselves what we have done for God, country, and Texas. We thank Colonel West and all in attendance.
