Services for Edward D. Reed, 92, will be private. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M., Friday, February 5, 2021, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Edward was born in Benjamin, Texas, on February 7, 1928, to Clarence and Clara Mae (Dixon) Reed. He married Jewel Woods on September 1, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death on July 28, 2017.
Edward attended The Assembly of God Church.
Edward is survived by his daughters, Janice Reed and Patricia Reed; grandchildren, Martha, Matthew, and Emily; great-grandchild, Isabella Reed; siblings, Annette, LaRue, LaFrance, and Rocky; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three of his daughters, Carolyn, Martha, and Mary, two of his siblings, Shory and Jackie, a nephew, Justin, and a niece, Rhonda.
