GREELEY – In a game that was all offense today the Texans fell 15-9 in the first game of the series to the Bears.

The Texans got behind early as the Bears scored a run in the 1st and 2nd, but they were able to tie things up in the top of the 3rd when they plated two runs. The Bears answered with a 10 spot in the third which ultimately led them to victory tonight.

Trying to cut into the deficit in the 4th the Texans plated five on a three-run home run from Bryan Aguilar, his third of the season, a sacrifice fly from Blake Burns and a single from London Green. Northern Colorado plated three more in the bottom of the 4th.

Hunter Thomas came in to pitch in the 4th inning allowing no runs and only two hits in his 4 innings of work while striking out six bears.
