Nathan Leroy Littlefield was born on July 8th, 1944 in Groom, Texas to the late Lloyd and Verda Lee Littlefield. He passed away on May 11, 2021. He attended school in Groom, Texas. In November of 1964, Leroy married his high school sweetheart Mary Susan Homer, to whom he would be married for 52 years until her passing in 2016. Susan and Leroy lived in many places including Amarillo, Wyoming, and Colorado Springs, but spent a large portion of their lives in Houston. Leroy worked in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years, eventually owning his own company, XCEL/XRAL. He retired in his 40’s and spent his retirement running his ranch, 4L Cattle Co., and traveling the country with Susan.


Leroy is survived by his sons, Greg and Mark Littlefield; daughter-in-law, Stacey Littlefield; granddaughter, Danielle Littlefield Brady; grandson, Layne Littlefield; brother, Jerry Littlefield; many cousins, and even more friends. 


A Celebration of Life will take place on July 17th at the Jericho Cemetery in Jericho, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to your favorite cause in Leroy and Susan’s name.

A celebration of life will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, in the Jericho Cemetery.
