Al Locke, Jr., 80, of Stephenville, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones while his kids sang him home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, June 21, 2021 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Locke officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 pm Monday at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday, June 20 at the funeral home.

Al was born on April 21, 1941 in Stephenville to the late Alfred C. Locke, Sr. and Mary F. Hudspeth Locke. He married Patti Prince on April 2, 2004 in Stephenville. Al grew up in Lake Worth attending Lake Worth High School. He retired after working many years in sales. Al also enjoyed many adventures in his lifetime.  He loved racing and building car, motor cross bikes, dragsters, and traveling, singing and recording gospel music, flying airplanes and the list goes on.  In the last weeks of his life he would say, “I did everything I ever wanted to do.”

Survivors include his wife, Patti Locke of Stephenville; son, Tracy Locke and wife Aimee of McKinney; daughters, Christine Adams and husband Jeff of Granbury, and Denise Heard and husband Lee of Nashville, TN; step-children, Chris Randle and wife Lisa of Cibilo, and Carin White and husband John of Kyle; grandchildren, Colin McClintock and wife Chelsea, Blake Bridges, Cody Bridges, Amy Adams, Brittanie Tasker, Brittany McShand, and Wyatt White; great-grandchild, Britain Quinn; brothers, David Locke and wife Sharon, and Jerry Locke and wife Susan of Lake Worth; and many nieces and nephews.
