Jeannie Kaye Baley departed her loving family on July 29, 2021 at 7:30 am while at her home in Coldspring, Texas.

Jeannie was born in Hico, Texas on February 19, 1950 to Wanda and Charles Baley, who preceded her in death. Jeannie was sister to Cheryl Carter of Liberty, Texas and Chuck Baley of Valley Mills, Texas. She was also mother to Amy McElroy of Dayton, Texas and Jennifer Thygesen of Bulverde, Texas. Both girls would tell you that she was the best mother in the world. She was grandmother, “Nina”, to seven: Baley, Noah, Blade, Matthew, Abbey, Zachary, and Zoey. She loved them “to the moon and back,” and they loved her “to infinity and beyond.”

Jeannie loved watching the Astros, reading books about history, and she could decorate like no other. She loved her family, her friends, and most importantly, she loved the Lord. In fact, she used her illness as an opportunity to share His Good News.

Her celebration of life is at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 21st at Harvest Hills Funeral Home in Hico, Texas. Pastor Chris Contreras of New Work Family Worship Center in Liberty, Texas will be officiating.
