The Pickers and Poets Singer-Songwriter Series is underway. Sorry if you missed the first wonderful evening of music at the Stephenville Historical House Museum on Sunday, August 8th. The performances will be held inside the Chapel On The Bosque on the Stephenville Historical House Museum grounds located at 525 East Washington in Stephenville. The shows are scheduled to run from 4 pm to 6:30 pm. See the flyer for more details.
The next show will be a performance by Stephenville’s very own, Jon Young, on Sunday, August 29th. The co-editor of the book, Pickers and Poets, is Craig Clifford and he will be swapping songs with Jon Young. Come on out for a great evening of music, homebrewed beer (brewed by the Thirsty Armadillos), wine and snacks.
This week’s performance was a fine song swapping evening with Walt Wilkins and Craig Clifford! This venue also provided a great, relaxed atmosphere to enjoy some music and visit with friends and even chat with the artists! Be sure and mark your calendars for Sunday, August 29th!
