Graduates Hunter Rudloff and Grayson Traweek will be swinging into the next chapter
of their golf careers as they each take positions on the Tyler Junior College golf team in the fall.
Rudloff explains that the weather and scenery of East Texas peaked his interest in the
junior college, with the strong golf program being an added incentive. His future roommate,
Grayson Traweek, will also be playing on the course, continuing with the sport he’s played since
the ripe age of three.

I always grew up around [golf]. I played every sport growing up but… I’ve always loved playing golf.

Rudloff plans on attending Tyler to begin the classes towards a business degree before
he hopes to transfer to a larger school in two years. Traweek will be majoring in sports
management and hopes to head to the national tournament with his team.

“I think we’ll have fun,” Rudloff says of the transition him and Traweek are taking on. “I
think we can get a lot better at golf out there.”
Traweek added that he’s very grateful to his family members and supporters that have
led him to where he is.
