Larry Territo of Glen Rose, a longtime Dallas resident, died Sunday, Aug. 29, after several years of health challenges. Larry, 70,  was a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and was a standout athlete at Samuell High School in Dallas. He was a retired construction estimator.

It’s often said that someone would give you the shirt off his back, but that was absolutely true of Larry. He was generous in spirit and with his possessions. Known for his quick wit and deeply curious mind, Larry made friends wherever he went.

He was an adoring husband, doting dad, beloved son, lively grandfather and favorite uncle. Larry always made life more fun. Like his father and his son, he was a dedicated fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Territo, and his brother, Louis Territo Jr., both of Dallas.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Adams Territo of Stephenville; mother, Maurine Territo of Mesquite; sons Zachary (Melissa) Territo of Dallas and Tony (Candiss) Territo of Lingleville; a sister, Lori (Steve) Blow of Sunnyvale, and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
