The Stephenville Yellow Jackets improved to 3-0 on the season and dominated the 1-2 Salado Eagles on Friday, Sept. 10, at Tarleton’s Memorial Stadium in Stephenville.
The Jackets came out honoring the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and those who lost their lives in the fight against terror that followed. Then they took the field and never looked back, scoring 31 points in the first half and only allowing the Eagles 7. The second half was more of the same, with Stephenville running all over 4A Salado.
Stephenville will travel to Abilene to take on the Wylie Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 17.
