Obituary
Services for Peggy Gean Mayo, 94, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken May officiating. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery, in Iredell, Texas. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M.- 3:00 P.M. Monday, October 4, 2021, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Peggy was born in Iredell, Texas on March 25, 1927, to Charlie and Fannie (Harris) Tidwell. She married Leon Dale Roberts on January 2, 1946, in Iredell, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1997. She married Bill Mayo on February 6, 1999, in Stephenville, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2010.
Peggy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Charles Leon Roberts and wife Kim, of Iredell, Texas, and Ronnie Roberts; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Bryan and husband Ed, of Stephenville, Texas, and Sandra Kelly and husband Danny, of Winnsboro, Texas; 5 great grandchildren, Rhett, Rachel, Laine, Lucy, and Robert.
