The Flash was invited to the unveiling of a memorial for Daniel Delgado, a Stephenville resident who was killed in a road rage incident in the Metroplex a few years ago. Below is a statement from Daniel’s sister, Chelsea Kroll.

“We would like to give a big THANK YOU to all who came for Daniel Delgado’s three year memorial/ bench unveiling. What a wonderful way to celebrate his memory. The three best things to have in life are faith, family, and friends… and those 3 things were in full force Saturday. We laughed, we cried, we shared memories, and then we did it all over again. Thomas Lancaster of Marta Cement Works and his fantastic crew put lots of blood, sweat, and tears into creating a bench that represents Daniel 100%. Tommy, you truly have a gift, and I know Daniel loves every inch of your tribute to him. Kirk Lancaster, always thankful for your unyielding love to the family. We love you, and we are thankful for you everyday. So, If you find yourself missing Daniel, come have a seat on his bench, listen to the river flowing by, and bring a few beers. Cheers, Buddy! We’ll be seeing you soon.”
