Bees honored after great season comes to an end

The season is over for the Stephenville HS Honeybee volleyball team after a tough Regional Quarterfinal battle with the Argyle Lady Eagles earlier this week. The Lady Eagles upset the Bees in four sets, Tuesday (27-25, 16-25, 27-25, 25-21).

With the end of a season comes the All-District honors for the Bees, and there were plenty of them. Leading the charge is Head Coach Shay Douglas, who was named District 6-4A Coach of the Year. Senior Landri Withers was named Most Valuable Player,  Emma Giddings was named Offensive Play of the Year, Audrey Brandon was named Blocker of the Year, Keirstyn Carlto is the Newcomer of the Year. Then Kennedy Coffee, Jaylee Matthews and Leddy Rae Guinn made 1st Team All-District and Macie Sheets made 2nd Team All-District.
