The Stephenville Yellow Jackets (11-0) are headed to Denton tonight to face the Paris Wildcats (7-4) at Collins Stadium with kick off at 7:30 p.m.

The Jackets are undefeated and ranked second in the state in their division behind Austin LBJ (11-0), who are also undefeated this season. Stephenville is coming into the Area matchup off a dominating win over Fort Worth Dunbar, 49-21. 

Paris came out of District 7, 4A in fourth place and defeated the Dallas Lincoln Tigers 49-29 to reached this round of playoffs.

The Dublin Lions (8-3) defeated the Callisburg Wildcats (9-2), 38-33 last Friday and are headed to the Area Championship game tonight in Joshua against the Palmer Bulldogs (8-3). 

Dublin comes into the matchup off an electrifying win last week in the final minutes of play. The win largely comes off the leadership of junior Chris Teten at QB. Teten was 24 of 29 for 361 yards and 3 touchdowns against Callisburg. He rushed for 45 yards on 11 carries and 2 more TDs. 

The Bulldogs are coming out of District 7, 3A in first place and undefeated in district play. They bring a 7 game win streak to the match and beat the Whitewright Tigers 32-7 last week. Palmer has a strong run game with junior Bralen Lopez who did the bulk of the work last week on the ground with 22 carries for 182 yards and two touchdowns, while senior Eric Hernandez was 11 of 13 for 136 yards, a touchdown and an interception against the Tigers.
