James Gail Munsell, 87, went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2022 in Stephenville, TX. James was born on May 4, 1934 in Knox City, TX to his parents Mark Munsell and Mabel (King) Munsell. He was married to Dorinda (Logan) Munsell for 60 years until her passing in 2014. He was a Foreman for T.U. Electric for 40 years and has been retired for 25 years. He was a member of the Edna Hill Baptist Church. He graduated from Carlton High School in 1952. He grew up in West Texas living on several different cattle ranches. He was on the volunteer Fire Department in Carlton and Andrews. James coached little league baseball for 12 years in Andrews, TX. He was a member of the Mesquite Burners BBQ in Andrews. He really enjoyed his cows. 

He was proceeded in death by his wife Dorinda Munsell, his brothers Bobby and Freddy Munsell, and his nephew Donnie Munsell.  

James is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Scott and Debbie Munsell of Alto, TX, Mickey and Denise Munsell of Cushing, OK, his brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Marsha Munsell of Andrews, TX, his sister and brother-in-law Judy and James Littleton of Stephenville, TX, 4 grandchildren: Katie, Laura, Cheyanne, and Tanner, 7 great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, James, Tucker, Reatta, Tatum Tyson, and Sage, and several other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. 

Services will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Harrell Memorial Chapel in Dublin, TX.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. at the Harrell Funeral Home. 

Interment at Pecan Cemetery.
