Herminia Reyes Ojeda went to be with the lord at 77 years old on March 1, 2022. Herminia was born in Mexico to her parents Juan and Trinity (Flores) Reyes on April 5, 1944. Herminia was a fabulous cook who loved to hang out with friends and socializing. She was a restaurant chef in Houston, worked for Justin Boot Company in Fort Worth and had a Flea Market booth in Del Rio. She married the love of her life Juan Ojeda, and they were married for 56 years and had 2 children together. She was one special lady and the loss of her is felt deeply by many, even though she lived a full life. The love of a grandma is unique. God must have given grandmothers to us to liven up our lives, to make our lives more complete, to make us well rounded and better human beings. Her spirit and strength, lives on in each of us and in the lives that she has touched.
Herminia is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Trinity Reyes and her daughter Juilssa Ojeda.
Herminia is survived by her Husband Juan Ojeda of Dublin, TX, her son and daughter-in-law Gerardo and Shalon Ojeda of Dublin, TX, her granddaughters Adriana Vazquez of Stephenville, TX, Mikayla Ojeda-Avilez of Stephenville, TX, Priscilla Meraz of Atlanta, GA, and Denise Ojeda of San Antonio, TX, her grandsons Austin Ojeda of Dublin, TX, Jonathan Ojeda of Dublin, TX, Juan Carlos Meraz of Stephenville, TX, and Sergio Meraz of Stephenville, TX, her great-grandchildren Lilliana Guzman, Jasmine Guzman, Pedro Guzman, Grayson Ojeda, Sofia Ojeda, Emmit Avilez, Javion Meraz, Myles Meraz, Maddix Meraz, Journey Meraz, Andres Vazquez, Sergio Meraz, Isabella Meraz, and Lucas Meraz, her sisters Cecilia Esquivel, Ernestina Narvaez, Elodia Moreno, and her brother Jose Reyes and many other family and friends who will miss her very much.
The visitation for Herminia will be held at Harrell Funeral Home on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 5-7pm.
The Services for Herminia will be held at Harrell Memorial Chapel on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 2pm.
