Jory Lynn Carrol was born in Clifton, TX on May 26, 1979 to Rory and Vicki of Hico, TX. Jory spent most of his childhood growing up in Glen Rose and Iredell. He was very athletic and extremely smart. Jory was always eager to learn and very intuitive. In 1997 he graduated High School and later that year in July, welcomed his first and only child Gage Carrol. Jory then went on to work at Rice University in Carbon Nano Technologies Inc. and finalized his career as a 798-union pipe-liner Journeyman. He loved to be outside and to fish. He also enjoyed woodworking and repairing things. Fixing things was Jory’s favorite pastime. Jory loved with all he had. He was so incredibly proud of his son Gage and could not wait to be a grandpa and meet his first grandson Aryan Carrol.
He was preceded in death by: Victor & Wanda Cornett and Roy & Minnie Pearl Carrol.
He is survived by his son, Gage & Annemarie Carrol, grandchild: Aryan Carrol Girlfriend: Sara McClung Parents: Vicki & Curtis Taylor, Rory & Paula Carrol Siblings: Justin & Ashley Carrol, Jason & Loni Carrol Nieces: Whitney, Suzie, Elizabeth & Tinsley Carrol Nephews: Wyatt, Jaydon, Jake, Tristan and Hunter Carrol, three stepbrothers and four stepsisters.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 pm, Thursday, February 16 at Davis Family Cemetery, Glen Rose, Texas.
