The Stephenville FAITH Knights faced the Johnson County Lions (4-4) for a very exciting game on Tuesday night. It was the last home game for FAITH and they also honored two seniors, Channing Wescott (#10) and Abi Eiland (#22).
“I could not be prouder of how this team has played this season and how they carry themselves on and off the court! Tuesday night was our senior night and the last home game for my seniors, Abigail Eiland and Channing Wescott. They have both been amazing leaders and consistent power players on the court. Tuesday night Eiland did a fantastic job digging up tough balls, setting and strategically placing the ball to score. Wescott put up a powerful wall on defense with consistent blocks and her killer hits that could not be touched including her hit to close out our 5th set skimming the 10-foot line! These two players are all a coach could want for seniors!”

It was a great match between the Knights and the JCSA Lions, the Lions won the first set with a score of 28-26. The game was back and forth with the second set going to the Knights, the third set going to the Knights and then the fourth set going to the Lions. They were tied up going into an intense 5th and final set, but the Knights pulled through and won with a score of 15-13.
The Faith Knights are now (8-2) as they prepare for their upcoming tournaments.
