(April 24, 2007 – May 30, 2024)

Brenson Allen Smith of Dublin, Texas returned to his loving Savior on May 30, 2024. He was born on April 24, 2007, to his parents Marsha Lee (Head) and Daniel Allen Smith. Brenson was a Senior at PHS in Comanche, Texas and attended Lingleville Baptist Church. He loved his community whether at church or at school, and his light that he shared with others was a blessing to be a part of.

Brenson didn’t know how to do anything in the “slow lane”; he loved the adventure and adrenaline that came with anything and everything in the fast lane. But Brenson would always slow down enough to love up on, send scripture to and encourage those that were down on their luck. He had a unique ability to “see” and “hear” folks in their hurting. Brenson enjoyed anything and everything outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing or off-roading. He especially loved these outdoor activities with his mom and dad alongside him as he had countless stories of these outdoor adventures together…. Brenson loved his red Duramax and wouldn’t even hear of any other vehicle that was better. He loved his truck SO much and talked about it all the time. Brenson had a way of always lighting up the room and could make you laugh even in moments that weren’t ok to laugh in. He also had a deep love for the Lord and would ask questions all the time about his faith and the scriptures and how he could encourage folks better. He will be missed by many no doubt.

Brenson is survived by his parents, Daniel, and Marsha Smith, sisters, Kaylee Smith, and Raychel Head, his “Nana”, Katy Hodges, “Paw Paw”, Ted Hodges, “Granpa”, Allen Christiansen, Uncles, Josh Hodges, Cody Hodges, Chris Roundtree, Joseph Head, Andrew, Cody, Peter, A.J., and Charlie, Aunts, Charity Roundtree, Sidney Head, Kandie Hodges, Selina Hodges, and Daisey Christiansen, Cousins, Hunter Hodges, Blake Hodges, Kaitlyn Hodges, Hagen Hodges, Ansel Hodges, Carsyn Hodges, Drayke Head, and Jason Olvera.
