Services for Jamie Beth Adams will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, at the Lacy Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Ryan Hurt officiating. Burial will follow at the Granbury Cemetery in Granbury, Texas. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Jamie was born in Big Spring, Texas, on October 10, 1943, to James E. Thomas and Georgia B. (Daniels) Thomas. She married Rom Calvin Baggett. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1968. She married Kenneth Adams. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2005.

Jamie had a healer’s heart, serving and caring for others as a nurse. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time with her special “Tuesday Crew” and the rest of her church family at Lingleville Baptist that she cherished and loved. Most of all, Jamie loved spending time with her family and her dog, Penny. Jamie had a special maternal bond with her favorite roommate, Ken. She will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Survivors include her children, Rom Baggett and wife, Lori of Tacoma, Washington; Jvon Smallacombe and husband, Pete of Temple, Texas; Phillip Schulze and wife, Becky of Lake Dallas, Texas; Roger Schulze of Sanger, Texas; and Kendrael Adams and Joe Smithey; thirteen grandchildren, Melissa, Amanda, Alicia, Shay, Dylan, James, Jack, Jessica, Ken, Lilly, Maggie, Novah and Drake; eight great-grandchildren, Katie, Jacob, Sullivan, Paxton, Lorenzo, Alexander, Catherine, and Grayson; and fur baby, Penny; her best friend, Beverly Hudson (Martha).

She was preceded in death by one son, Rod Baggett; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Schulze.
