A memorial service for Maria Torres Cole, 69, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home chapel with Werth Mayes officiating. Visitation will be held at Lacy Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. She passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, in Hillsboro, Texas.
Maria was born in Mexico, on January 5, 1955, to Antonio Guadalupe Torres and Maria De La Luz Ibarra. She married Clifford Cole on July 8, 2005 in Rio Hondo, Texas.
Maria had a servant’s heart working as a caretaker. More than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Maria is survived by her husband, Cliff Cole of Whitney, Texas; children, Melanie Cruz Cole of Whitney, Texas, Juan Lopez of Harlingen, Texas, Seniada Conde of Florida, Tony Lopez of Harlingen, Texas, Theresa Beni of Tennessee, and Scott Cole of Kentucky; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and sister, Estella Gonzalez of Leveland, Texas.
Maria is preceded in death by her Parents, Antonio Guadalupe Torres and Maria De La Luz Ibarra; and two children, Eric Lopez and Julian Lopez.
