STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton State Basketball’s first season at the EECU Center is imminent, and to tip off the 2025-26 campaign, the Texans will hold their annual Midnight Madness event, presented by Focused Care Partners, on the night of Oct. 13.
Doors will open at 11 p.m. for Midnight Madness on Oct. 13, held for the first time at the EECU Center, the brand-new, first-class arena on Tarleton State University’s campus.
Students are welcome to line up outside the EECU Center to make sure they get the best seats available ahead of doors opening at 11 p.m. Tarleton State Athletics will provide music and make the outside atmosphere enjoyable before the event begins at 11:15 p.m.
The first 1,000 into Wisdom Gym will receive special Midnight Madness T-shirts.
The EECU Center will have an electric atmosphere pregame, coinciding with performances by Tarleton State Cheer, Texan Stars, and more. At midnight, the Tarleton State men’s and women’s basketball teams will be introduced. On-court activities will include special games featuring students, men’s basketball and women’s basketball players, plus there will be a special “halftime” performance.
Midnight Madness is an in-person only event and will not be streamed. Attendance is free to the public and student body. No tickets are necessary.
