STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton State Women’s Soccer head coach Pete Cuadrado announced the addition of Olivia “Liv” Stutzman as the program’s new Assistant Coach ahead of the upcoming season.

Stutzman joins the Texans after a strong collegiate playing career and diverse coaching and performance background, bringing a player-first perspective and a high-level understanding of strength, conditioning, and athlete development.

“I’m really excited to get Olivia here in Stephenville,” said Cuadrado. “I’ve known her for a while now. She had a fantastic career as a player and will be a great addition to our staff.”

A native of Fort Collins, Colorado, Stutzman was a four-year starter for Colorado State, where she played midfield and logged heavy minutes throughout her career. She earned multiple honors during her time with the Rams, including Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, Mountain West “One to Watch” recognition in 2024, and All-Conference honors in the Mountain West Championship. Known for her consistency and durability, she averaged approximately 80 minutes per match across her career.

Academically, Stutzman excelled as well, earning four-year academic all-conference honors and graduating with a degree in Exercise Science. She will pursue a graduate degree in Kinesiology while serving as a graduate assistant at Tarleton State.

Stutzman also brings valuable coaching and performance experience to Stephenville. Most recently, she served as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Keiser University, where she helped manage and implement training programs for multiple sports, including women’s soccer, football, women’s basketball, and track. Her background also includes internships and assistant roles with Colorado State Football and Colorado State Army ROTC, focusing on individualized programming, performance preparation, and athlete readiness.

As a former high-level collegiate student-athlete with a strong foundation in performance science, Stutzman is expected to play a key role in supporting player development, daily operations, and the overall growth of the program.

“I’m feeling very blessed for this opportunity,” said Stutzman. “I am excited to get started!”

Stutzman will be taking over the role of Bayleigh Chaviers-Bledsoe for this upcoming season.
