Stephenville — The Melody Mountain Foundation presented a check for $10,192.81 to Foster’s Home for Children, representing proceeds from the inaugural Foster’s Merry Mountain Christmas fundraiser.

The two-day event, held December 12 – 13 at Melody Mountain Ranch, featured live music performances and a silent auction, bringing together artists, volunteers, sponsors, and community members in support of children served by Foster’s Home.

Larry Joe Taylor, founder of the Melody Mountain Foundation, expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event’s success.

“This was our first year, and it truly took a community to make it happen,” Taylor said. “We had countless volunteers who donated their time, artists who performed for little to no compensation, sponsors who generously donated auction items, press affiliates who helped spread the word, auction bidders, and every single ticket holder who showed up to support the Foster’s Home. Each person played a meaningful role in raising funds for these well-deserving children, and we cannot thank everyone enough. We look forward to doing this again next year.”

The Melody Mountain Foundation plans to continue building on the success of the event and looks forward to hosting Foster’s Merry Mountain Christmas again in 2026.
