Services for JackLynn Kaye Blackwell, 9, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Cowboy Church of Erath County with Pastor John Barnes officiating. The family has asked everyone to wear pink for the service.  Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Timber Ridge Church, 510 E Lingleville Rd., Stephenville, Texas.

JackLynn Kaye Blackwell was born in Stephenville, Texas on May 24, 2016 to Curtis and Wendi Blackwell.

JackLynn was a member of Timber Ridge Church.

Her hobbies were singing, dancing, dressing up and spending time with her family, especially visiting her grandparents and nieces and nephews.

She loved crafting, drawing, painting, doing puzzles and riding her bike. She loved eating crawfish. One of her favorite places to visit was the pleasure pier in Galveston, Texas and Port Aransas Texas.

Survivors include her parents Curtis and Wendi Blackwell of Stephenville, Texas; her maternal grandparents Ennis Bass of Stephenville, Texas and Kathy Bass of Stephenville, Texas; her paternal grandmother Pauline Blackwell of Stephenville, Texas; her brothers and sisters, Felicity Vargas and husband Benito, Ethan Salinas and wife Katie, Kayden Salinas, Hailey Dorminey and husband Wyatt,  Elexus Ortiz, and Lilian Stephens; Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Billy Jack Blackwell.
