STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton State’s No. 1 court player of the last two years enters her final year with high preseason recognition. Allison Bryant was one of 11 players named to the 2026 CUSA Women’s Beach Volleyball Preseason Team, Conference USA announced on Thursday.
Bryant (5-10) has played every match in Tarleton State’s two seasons on Court 1, combined for a 17-16 record for the Texans. Last season, Bryant went 10-10 on Court 1, with highlight wins against Cal State Bakersfield, Sam Houston, Texas A&M-Kingsville, McNeese and Southeastern Louisiana.
Bryant had a season-long three-match winning streak from March 16-April 4, and among her 10 wins, seven were in straight sets.
Bryant is the first player in Tarleton State’s short program history to be named Preseason All-Conference. She and the Texans start their season on Friday at Third Coast College Classic, hosted by Houston Christian.
