​A rosary for Barbara Rocha and her son, Alex Aron Rocha, will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Their funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, with an interment to follow at West End Cemetery.

 Their lives were defined by a deep bond of family and a shared faith that will be celebrated by all who knew them.

​Barbara Rocha, 49, was born in Mexico to Manuel De Santiago Garcia and Agustina Juarez Barrera. On October 23, 1994, she began a 31-year journey of marriage with her husband, Alfredo Rocha, Sr.

​Barbara was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a familiar face at The Purple Goat. She was known for her talent in the kitchen. Whether at work or at home, her cooking was an expression of her love, and her happiest moments were those spent surrounding her husband and children with warmth and care.

​She is survived by her devoted husband, Alfredo Rocha, Sr.; her parents, Manuel De Santiago Garcia and Agustina Juarez Barrera; her children, Alfredo Jr., Raul, Osiel, Andres, and Anna; and her siblings, Javier Juarez, Martha Alicia De Santiago, and Manuel De Santiago.

​Alex Aron Rocha, age 7, was born in Fort Worth, Texas, to Alfredo Rocha, Sr. and the late Barbara De Santiago Rocha. A bright and creative soul, Aron found joy in the simple wonders of the world. He was a gifted young artist who loved to draw, filling his days with color and imagination.

​Known for his adventurous and carefree spirit, Aron was happiest when he was barefoot, feeling the ground beneath his feet as he explored. His laughter and creativity brought a special light to his family’s home that will never be forgotten.

​He is survived by his father, Alfredo Rocha, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Manuel De Santiago Garcia and Agustina Juarez Barrera; his brothers, Alfredo Jr., Raul, Osiel, and Andres; and his sister, Anna. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Barbara, who walked beside him

Se llevará a cabo un rosario por Barbara Rocha y su hijo, Alex Aron Rocha, el martes 31 de marzo de 2026 a las 6:00 p.m. en la capilla de Lacy Funeral Home. Su misa fúnebre se celebrará el miércoles 1 de abril de 2026, seguida del sepelio en el Cementerio West End.

Barbara era miembro de la Iglesia Católica St. Mary’s y un rostro conocido en The Purple Goat. Era famosa por su talento en la cocina. Ya fuera en el trabajo o en casa, su comida era una expresión de su amor, y sus momentos más felices eran aquellos en los que rodeaba a su esposo e hijos con calidez y cuidado.

Alex Aron Rocha, de 7 años, nació en Fort Worth, Texas, hijo de Alfredo Rocha, Sr. y la difunta Barbara De Santiago Rocha. Un alma brillante y creativa, Aron encontraba alegría en las maravillas sencillas del mundo. Era un joven artista talentoso al que le encantaba dibujar, llenando sus días de color e imaginación.

Conocido por su espíritu aventurero y despreocupado, Aron era más feliz cuando estaba descalzo, sintiendo el suelo bajo sus pies mientras exploraba. Su risa y creatividad trajeron una luz especial al hogar de su familia que nunca será olvidada.

Le sobreviven su padre, Alfredo Rocha, Sr.; sus abuelos maternos, Manuel De Santiago García y Agustina Juárez Barrera; sus hermanos, Alfredo Jr., Raúl, Osiel y Andrés; y su hermana, Anna. Fue precedido en la muerte por su amada madre, Barbara, quien caminó a su lado.
