Steven Dean Reese, 64, passed away on April 7, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Steve was born on August 23, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas. He spent much of his life in the Fort Worth area, where he was known for his hardworking nature, strong character, and love for his family.

Steve enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed BBQing on the grill with friends and family, LOUD music that would make the earth shake, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Steve owned a car stereo shop for years and met many of his friends through it. He was always working on something electronic or automotive related. He was the expert you called when you needed help. If he couldn’t fix it, it just couldn’t be fixed.

He is survived by his children: Courtney Reese and her husband, David, of Cleburne, Texas; Colton Reese of Commerce, Texas; Cullen Reese of Austin, Texas; Dakota Moore and wife, Breanna, of Lake Worth, Texas; Kyler Costa of England; and River Reese of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, who brought great joy to his life. Steve is further survived by his brother, Michael Danagher and his wife, Cassie, of Springtown, Texas. Nephew, Jeffrey Parker and Niece, Heather Webster as well as Great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Dean Reese and Irma Nell Cooper.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Duffau Cemetery, officiated by Vance Wade.

Steve will be remembered most for the wisdom he passed down, his kind eyes, his boisterous laugh, and his selfless nature.
