John “Darrell” Rasberry passed away from this Earthly life on September 11, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on December 23, 1943, in Dallas, Texas, Darrell was the beloved son of Mary Edith and Clarence Lee Rasberry. Known for his love of fishing and traveling, especially cruises with his loving wife of 54 years, Christine, Darrell was also an avid sports fan who never missed an event. He proudly served his country as a 1st Lieutenant in the Vietnam War.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Clarence Rasberry, and his sister, Barbara Rainwater. He is survived by his devoted wife, Christine Rasberry, of Longview, Texas, his daughter, Tonya Rasberry of Weatherford, Texas, his son, John Rasberry and wife, Leticia of Longview, Texas, grandchildren, Marina Ramirez and husband, Relo of Mineral Wells, Texas, Cecilia Rasberry of Longview, Texas, Eduardo Rasberry of Longview, Texas, Kaden Goodboo (Mikaila) , of Mineral Wells, Texas, Kylie Goodboo (Sebastian) of Weatherford, Texas, Clarisa Rasberry of Longview, Texas, Monica Delgado, Rosie Gonzalez, and Patricia Flores. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Harrell Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00pm. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Lower Greens Creek Cemetery in Dublin, Texas beginning at 10:00am.
