Services for Bobbie Quarles, 83, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Bobbie Joan Quarles, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and servant of Christ, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on June 4, 1942, in Iredell, Texas, Bobbie lived a life marked by love, dedication, and service to her family, community, and faith.

After graduating from Meridian High School, Bobbie moved to Fort Worth to pursue a job opportunity. It was there that she met her future husband of 60 years, Arlin Quarles. The two were married on May 8, 1965, and together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work. 

Bobbie’s life exemplified the virtues described in Proverbs 31, the passage of the righteous wife. She was a woman of noble character, whose dedication to her husband and family was unwavering. For over 20 years, Bobbie ran an in-home daycare, where she lovingly cared for and helped raise countless children in her community. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family, as she became a second mother to many. She also served the Morgan Mill community as a relief postmaster for over 20 years.

A faithful servant of Christ, Bobbie was a longtime member of the Morgan Mill Baptist Church, where she served tirelessly in the nursery for over 30 years. She worked behind the scenes on numerous church events, never seeking recognition or praise, but always striving to glorify God through her actions. Her humility and hard work were hallmarks of her character, and she found joy in serving others.

Bobbie’s family was her greatest treasure, and she ensured that they were always cared for. She worked diligently to provide for her loved ones, ensuring they never went hungry, excelled in school, and felt deeply loved. Her hands were never idle, and her heart was always full of compassion and grace.

Bobbie Joan Quarles leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the beauty of a heart devoted to God and family.

Her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and honor her memory, cherishing the many ways she touched their lives. Bobbie’s faith and love will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind, and her example will continue to guide them in the years to come.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, Arlin Quarles of Morgan Mill, Texas; children, Karen Lasater and husband, Jackie, of Aledo, Texas, and Curtis Quarles and wife, Kim, of Benbrook, Texas; grandchildren, Allison Quarles, Emma Spinks and husband, Colt, David Lasater, and Daniel Laster; great-granddaughter, Murphy Spinks; brother, Billy Williams; sister, Alice Marlar; and several nieces an nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, J. H. Williams.
