(August 14, 1959 – January 29, 2026)
On Wednesday January 29, 2026, our beloved brother Ricky Lynn McGuffin went running into the gates of heaven. He was 66.
Ricky was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 14, 1959. He graduated high school from Amon Carter-Riverside in Fort Worth in the neighborhood he spent most of his young years.
He began his career as a young man in commercial and residential electrics, excelling at his trade. Ricky loved his work and continued in it the rest of his life. He was employed at Ray’s Electric the last few years, embracing the new challenge of dairy robotics.
Ricky loved fast, beautiful cars and motorcycles. He especially loved to play golf, a lifelong hobby he excelled in.
Ricky is proceeded in death by his dad Kirk Humphries and brother Kirby Humphries. He is survived by his mother Lovie Humphries of Dublin, TX, brother Jerry McGuffin of Dublin, TX, brother Steven Humphries of Dublin, TX, brother Dallas McGuffin and his wife Donna of Dublin,TX, and sister Belinda Graffin of Anchorage, AK, along with uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Grave side services for Ricky will be Tuesday February 3, 2026 at Hazeldell Cemetery at the intersection of FM 1702 and FM 591 at 2:00pm. All family and friends are welcome.
