Services for David Alexander “Chief Etta” Caron, 70, truck driver, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Lacy Funeral Home.
David was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on December 29, 1955. He married Carla A. Hope on November 17, 1988, in Stephenville, Texas.
He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. David loved to hunt, work on cars, collect coins, and spend time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Carla (Hope) Caron of Stephenville, Texas; his children, Amanda “Goat” Jones and husband, Christopher, of Stephenville, Texas, Albert Dominy and wife, Rose, of Fort Worth, Texas, Casandra Dominy of Stephenville, Texas, and Laurie “Hootie” West and husband, Clinton, of Stephenville, Texas; numerous grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Caron.
